This MasterClass will take place in the Sourdough Institute in Sankt Vith Belgium from 3 September 2024 until 5 September 2024. You will be guided by Karl De Smedt, our sourdough librarian, together with Guy Frenkel, Filip De Kimpe and other experts in the field.

Hands-on Learning
Acquire practical experience with cutting-edge methods in mixing, kneading, shaping, and baking, as well as understanding the science behind sourdough fermentation. In this course, Guy Frenkel will focus on creating creative, artisan sourdough breads, showcasing the techniques he employs at Céor Bread, his own company.

Guy will demonstrate the creation of his renowned breads from Céor. This event also presents a chance to inquire about any aspects of sourdough bread-making you may find challenging.

Each type of bread has a unique shaping method, and Guy will demonstrate how to craft them, sharing his secrets for achieving the perfect form for each bread.
